The IVDP set this year's beneficio at 76,000 pipas, a thousand more than 2025 but 28,000 below 2023. A pipa bound for Port fetches 900 to 1,200 euros; the same fruit sold for still DOC Douro wine fetches 150 to 400. The price has sat near 1,000 euros for twenty years.
