The finance inspectorate audited how Portugal's anti-corruption regime is applied across 38 public entities in 2024. Nearly all had the required documents; a large share were not doing what the documents say.
Resolution 246/2026 suspends the counting of the committee's operating period between 9 September and 30 November 2026, and says the suspension can be lifted early if the missing documentation arrives in full. The inquiry was constituted in September 2025 with a 90-day limit.
